Went to a Christmas ham shoot at the Mpls. Gun Club, and a friend on another forum brought a Ljutic he'd mentioned was for sale on the forum. He showed it to me, and then asked if I wanted to shoot the ham shoot with it. Yes, please!
Didn't win a ham, but I fell in love with the gun. It is a Handicap Limited Edition, only 25 of them were made. It's basically a Mono-Gun with 32" barrel, choked .035 (Full), mid-rib, (Which means a high rib compared to anything else!) shot about 80/20, which accounted for my first two losses, I'm used to my 1100 Competition Synthetic, which I have set at 70/30. It also has a Gracoil recoil reduction device on it, which is virtually the same as the Auto-Buster recoil device on my 1100. Beautiful wood, the gun looks great and crushes targets when I point it the right way!
Like a dummy, I forgot to take any pics of this beautiful gun, but I found some pics of some of the other 24 HDCP LE Mono-Guns:

I won't be acquiring it until sometime after February, but I am excited. It took 40 years, but I got one, and set up the way I want it!

I am jealous,. Just picked up another 1100 Trap, 30" step rib, m.c. stock, lots of figure, but not a Lahootik.
Had a friend who used to shoot one and when he'd get top gun, I'd put it in the newsletter but misspell it every time. He finally gave me a hat with the name on it, said, "put it on your damn computer so you can get it right".

Anecdote Alert, 1100 vs Ljutic

Lady shooter showed up with an engraved and gold inlaid Ljutic but was not scoring well. One of her cronies said, "Miss Eula, that single barrel is beating you to death, why don't you shoot your 1100?"
She replied "Charles (husband) said that if he ever had to clean another 1100, he would quit bringing me to trapshoots."

Well, my 'other' Trap gun is plastic....
It also crushes targets well, as well as pheasants.

I hear ya, loud and clear.. ;) My Ithaca M37, Rem 1100 etc used to kill a lot small game and their wood furniture is nothing fancy.

I have a safe filled with plastic etc and straight grained wood.. I'm to the point where the beauty of wood attracts my eye.. Wood has a timeless beauty as the pictures of the Ljutic you posted showed.

We have function and function with beauty.. .

I’m a fan of wood myself... a quick scan of my safe only showed three non-AR guns with synthetic stocks; the 870 HD shotgun, a Win M70 7-Mag and a Ruger American .22 WMR.

That single is a beauty! My 1100 Trap has some nice wood, but nothing like that!

Stay safe.
