LNL AP and Redding Crimp Die

I have a late (Less than a year old)Auto Hornady Lock-N-Load Progressive Reloading Press and a Redding AR .45 Pro Crimp (Roll Crimp) cannot be used in this press as it interferes with the eject wire at the top of the stroke.
I use the Redding Profile crimp die (awesome, I want another for .357) in station 5. Yes, it enterferes with the ejector wire. I remove the wire for non-H'day dies. I very recently ground the bottom off of this die and polished it so I could use it with the wire. I have not tried it yet, but I will try to remember to post if it works.
Folks have posted that grinding a bit off the bottom and or side of other brand dies makes them usable on the LNL. I had forgotten about that when I first posted. The older Projector uses a different set up to eject the loaded rounds.

I received my new LNL press yesterday and I'm setting it up now. I finally wore out the old Pro-Jector.
None of my current crimping dies will work in station 5, so I'll turn one down on the lathe and make it usable. If it works satisfactorily, then I'll do the rest of them.

I have a Redding crimp die otw for 38 special. I'm thinking the 38 is longer than the 45 ACP so it might work. If not I'll just remove the ejector wire like 20nickles. I'll let you all know how it goes when it gets here. I'm currently using a Hornady taper crimp die in the 5th station for 45 acp and it works fine.

I finally wore out the Pro-Jector and the 1000 bullet offer was the clincher. Besides, I got it at cost, $299.00, plus shipping.
I'm still considering sending the Pro-Jector back to them and see if they'll refurbish it. If they'll do it for less than a down payment on a new car, I'll have it done.

I ended up using a Lyman crimp die, and it's above the wire when set to the proper crimp. It works just fine for this caliber. I had about half a dozen .38 crimp dies, and the Lyman was the only one that would work and still eject the loaded rounds.
