Nice and simple. Well done, sir.

I've gotta ask- what's that not so simple gizmo you've got mounted on there we can see in the first pic?

I was guessing that's what it was because of where it was. It being your design, I obviously hadn't seen that one before.

I keep telling myself I need to build something similar. At one point I had some schematics someone posted somewhere that I'd tweaked a bit. You've inspired me to get back to it. If you care to share any of your inspirations, do/do nots, from yours I'm all ears.

To add something to the thread rather than being a complete pirate:
My just-as-simple LNL light consists of a cheapo LED flex-head light and some adhesive backed velcro. Lots of adjustability between the flex head and the velcro mount to get the beam right into the case mouth.

Magoo, I used the RCBS powder cop die for the alarm.
The plunger on the cop die activates the micro switch which in turn sounds the alarm, I installed a spring on the plunger to alleviate the compression of the powder charge.
The power source is a 9 volt battery, all the parts came from Radio Shack.
The two adjusting knobs on the frame allow me to adjust for any powder charge, very simple, it can be adjusted to be very sensitive for an overcharge.
I have other posts on this alarm also.
Hope this helps:)
