I've never known of a manufacturer to list the powder type and charge weight of their factory ammo. I'll say this, all of the 6.5 CM Honady factory ammo I've shot was roughly 100 fps slower than advertised. A max charge of H4350 with 140-143 gr bullets has come pretty darn close to the advertised speeds on the box with excellent accuracy with my hand loads. You'll find an awful lot of guys loading for the round have found the same.
129 gr. Whitetail load was right at 200 fps slower than printed on the box. 22" barrel and 55 degrees.
Oddly, the speeds in the Hornady # 9 manual are around 25 fps of what I get with 3 powders tested so far.
I don't know what powder they used but you can get there with H4350 if your running a 24" barrel or longer. Imr 4451 will be about 100 fps slower but very consistent.
