I’ve acquired four of those over the years. My first a brushed stainless in the early eighties, a polished one, sans cylinder and grips was next, it wears a set of hand made grips by a user on this forum, Belt Mountain base pin and a 45C Howell conversion cylinder, a blued model bought on a forum that proved to have a hair trigger was next, followed by another stainless, snd the last another brushed stainless with percussion, 45C and 45ACP cylinders the last. The last at $800 I think was a bargain with the two conversion cylinders.
I like the versatility of having the conversion cylinders, out door fair weather with cap and ball or bp 45 Colt cartridges or indoor shooting with 45C with TrailBoss powder or standard 45ACP loads. Great shooters and as reliable as any modern SA revolver. Down side, few if any parts.
The blued unsafe to shoot hair trigger one needs both trigger and hammer, the yahoo who sold it to me failed to mention the defect, must have been into fanning the trigger cowboy style. I sent it back to Ruger around 10 years ago. They wouldn’t fix it and offered me a red or Blackhawk as a replacement. Problem was they only offered less than a 20% discount on the trade.
