Do a search on Ringneck here, there are a couple threads. I have one, have about 4k rounds through the first one, about a 1k through the 2nd. No SxS is going to hold up like a O/U will. They just won't. (the 1st one broke, they replaced it under warranty, do a search for the thread)
Use lighter loads and limit it.
Me, I shoot SxS's, if they break every so often, well, so be it.
CZ's have a 5 year warranty, you could go through a lot of shots and get it replaced/fixed within that 5 years.;)
I'ts a very nice gun though I like mine a lot.
I've been looking at those Beretta SxSs and other than the Browning BSS, I think they have to be one of the more affordable, modern made SxSs available today, and, being a Beretta, you know it will last a lifetime.

That was exactly my thinking. Plus, it's pretty. :D

Congratulations Boze, one simply can't go wrong buying a product named after me. I was looking them over at the Beretta Gallery and they are pretty, indeed. I've recently been introduced to the Dakota Superlight and can feel myself wavering. Good thing too, as I can't afford either one and confusion over what I want can't do anything but good: if I vacilate long enough, perhaps it will pass.
:D

It won't pass, the double gun disease cannot be cured, only treated.
The Dakota's are more than the Beretta, prettier though, but as you say, you have the Beretta backing. I paid $2900 (plus tax, title, license) for this Silver Hawk, thought that was fair.

Can you believe only 18 months ago, I thought anyone spending more than 1500 on a O/U was insane. Crazy game this shotgunning.
Oh yes, still have my CZ. Would (will?) buy another one in a heartbeat. Try the bobwhite (english stock)
