General deer season doesn't open here until tomorrow morning.

Nice buck, about a 20" inside spread...but surprisingly little mass.

For the record, this photo was taken in a nature preserve, so the only way to hunt is with a camera. Just as well; it's all I can afford to do anyway.

Well at least you get to see some good activity. One of my best day's hunting was watching a doe feed while her fawn hid in the grass near by. Don't get me wrong she would have been a dead deer if she wasn't 70 yards away. But it was nice to just sit and watch her.
