I'm digging the SW640 and the Kahr MK40.
I have one gun shop and a gander mtn close by, so I was looking for a general direction.
The lgs has a theory that they must be priced higher than gander mtn to be competitive, so I usually make the trip up to Dallas to peruse at Cabela's.
The reason for stainless is for corrosion. Literally, I can carry my blued snubnose all day during summer, take it off at night and wake up the next morning covered in surface rust.
I don't mind wiping it down at night, but I'm usually beat when I finally come in for a shower and don't always remember to wipe it down with oil.
Polymer, stainless, aluminum, titanium, just something that I won't have to break down and clean if I forget to wipe it down for a day or two.
I'm going to do some calling around this week to try and find somebody that has the MK40(or a 9mm/.45 version) in stock as well as the 640 pro.
Thanks
