I would like to buy a gun, preferably military surplus/replica-type (AK47, AR15....) that shoots a caliber that's relatively cheap. I live in CT so my options are fairly limited and I am just curious what gun would you recommend? I already have a Mosin 91/30, AR, AK, SW .44 Mag, Ruger Mark III, Savage Mark II, and a Marlin Model 60. I was looking at maybe a SKS, Mauser 24/47, CZ-75, Tokarev pistol, or maybe even a Marlin 1894c. What are your suggestions? Are there any guns you think I might like? Thanks in advance!

Build a dedicated .22LR upper for your AR...great training tool, uber cheap!

Barring rimfires, I like the VZ.58, it's a bit different, but it's a great little carbine...same can be said for the M1-Carbine, but only if you handload (otherwise cheap ammo is not the first thing that comes to mind). If those are above your budget (about $700 and $600 respectively), a Hi-Point will certainly fit the bill and, when chambered for 9mmPara., is quite inexpensive to shoot. Not the fanciest, and certainly not the prettiest, but it's pretty well made/reliable and unquestionably a good value.

:)

I have an M 1 and 2 1894s (44 mag & 357 mag). Those aren't 'military' but they are GREAT rifles! The carbine is NOT cheap... But has history and if you don't mind little hiccups and a carbine instead of a bolt action hunting rifle, it is a lot of fun!

I didn't see a 22 LR listed in your collection. It's about time you get one. Personally, I'd reccomend a Ruger 10-22. There are a ton of aftermarket parts out there. You can easily make it look like a M1 Carbine, tommy gun, AR-15 etc. That way if you get tired of one look, you can just change out the furniture on the gun. Also, 22 LR is as inexpensive as it comes for shooting.

Glock 17 or Beretta M9/92FS. Your collection seems to be lacking a modern service pistol, and either would meet your 'military style' and 'cheap to shoot' requirements all in one go.

On the other hand, if you already have your mind made up on a CZ, then that'd probably work too. ;)

The Savage Mark II, Ruger Mark III, and Marlin are all .22's. Thanks for the advice though, my .22's are some of my favorites :)

+1 on the M92 great gun: but I feel almost ashamed to give my small opinion about that gun: my AF cop friends carry it every day... Also military to help balance the AK :)
