Ok I found a IWI Uzi for sale and It’s on a form three and I have no idea what I’m doing or how the process work. The seller is in another state and I’ve contacted him and the gun is available. Price is right and timing is right I just want to gather some info from the sages here. I’ll appreciate your thoughts and advice.

Thanks in advance

Seeing as how it is on a form 3, its just cans transferred to your local dealer. That transfer should be fast, under a week or so.

From there your local dealer takes over on a form 4.

That local dealer needs to be an SOT for it to transfer to him on a Form 3.

Guns are not "on" forms. The forms are transactional in nature. All that a "Form 3" means in this case is that the last transfer was tax-exempt from an SOT dealer to another SOT dealer. Another Form 3 will be used for the transfer from the out-of-state selling dealer to your local dealer. Then a tax-paid Form 4 will be used for the transfer from the local dealer to you.

These Forms must be submitted to the ATF, and be approved, before the gun moves, in each case. Be prepared for long waits, particularly for the Form 4.

If the gun is more than 50 years old, it would make sense for you to apply for an FFL Collector's License. Then the gun could be shipped directly to you (after approval of the Form 4) without going through the intermediate dealer.

Thanks a lot for taking your time to explain this to me, just want I needed.

How?
Both UPS and FedEx prohibit FFL's enrolled in their shipping programs from shipping DD's and machine guns.
USPS prohibits shipping anything other than a rifle or shotgun to someone other than a licensed dealer or manufacturer.

It is true that a C&R eligible NFA firearm can transfer directly to an 03FFL..........but getting it to them is problematic.

Considering the value of machine guns, it might be viable for the 03FFL buyer to travel to the other state and pick it up in person. I can see doing that for a $20,000 gun.
