Im amazed COLT is still in business, w/ their previous anti gun policies regarding EBRs(now quietly recinded) and their high prices im amazed they havnt shuttered their doors, AFA Sabre IIRC they have been in trouble for a while on this, Marlin and Remington are now owned by a subsidiary of cerberus

Sabre Defence was at one time the sole distributor for the Sphinx pistol.

I tried to get a replacement slide for a Sphinx 2000 pistol. The original slide cracked below the ejection port.

Sphinx (Switzerland) and Sabre Defence didn't want to be bothered with solving my problem. All I kept hearing from both companies was 'import restrictions'.

Maybe you should have just bought a CZ. That customer service sounds as bad as EAA's. Something telling me to stay away from the clones and stick to the real deal.

That it is but you got to know sooner or later you are going to get caught. One of those containers with the false bottoms will be found, one of your false manifests will be sorted out, all it takes is one when you are being that deliberate and the ATF is going to be crawling up every orifice you got.

It is just beyond crazy the greed and of course the overconfidence that they would get away with it forever.

From all the stuff i've read none of the guns went to Mexico. Sabre was simply a rogue organization that got caught.
