THE CHAIR IS AGAINST THE WALL
Sabre has some very cool stuff on display this year.

First up is their new rifle, basically built for shooting 3 gun, the Sabre Competition Extreme:

Duke Defense makes the offset sights, and frankly, they're the first offset sights I've ever seen that actually look like they're usable. Instead of the usual pistol-like sight radius of other offset sights, these give you the same sight radius as regular irons.

They also look like they'd be less likely to snag on objects when moving into or out of position.

However, the coolest thing they had there was the Leader 50, a new semi-auto bullpup .50 BMG rifle.

Sorry for the crappy picture. This thing was really cool, and very light, at around 17 lbs. for the whole thing.

Sabre Defence isn't as widely known as other gun makers, but their rifles are high quality, good stuff.

I snagged a video interview with the designer of the Leader 50. I'm editing it for upload as we speak. I cleaned up the audio as much as I could, but let's face it, it's a noisy show, so bear with me.

Edit: Okay, the video is up but it's not going up on the altac6.blip.tv front page for some reason. You can find it in my Episode Archive though.

Andrew Wyatt,
twenty bucks says the leader 50 is related to the bushmaster 17S
Indeed it is by the same designer, of both the original Leader T2 5.56 & the M17S (in Australia, 1980 & '86)
See my post on JShirley's topic here: http://www.thehighroad.org/showpost.php?p=7019984&postcount=5

For the NRA news interview with the designer, Charles St. George, explaining why his LSR 50 bullpup kicks less than a Garand .30-06, go to http://www.nranews.com -> click Program Guides then Jan 19 for the Cam & Co 1/19/11 video & skip to 02:26:20
