I know this has been asked before but I'd like to get some fresh opinions on good low-profile optics for my brand-new PCC.
The primary intended purpose of this gun is for home defense, with the possibility of some competition shooting. As it's my primary gun at the moment (and for the forseeable future) I'd like to get a fairly robust optic that's always ready. That means either dual-illuminated, motion-activated, or high-lifespan optics.
Right now I'm leaning heavily towards a pistol dot with a pic rail adapter, either the trijicon rm01, rm04, or the leupold deltapoint. However, I'm not 100% set on pistol optics and if there are other lowpro optics in my budget range ($500 or less) I'd consider those as well. I've also looked at the trijicon MRO but without seeing one in person I'm concerned about its height, even with the lowpro mount.
Any suggestions on ones I haven't thought about or reasons I should go with one of the listed ones over another?
