Ok, so before contacting Lyman I figured I'd ask here for solutions.
So I recently bought a Lyman digital powder dispenser, the compact Gen 6 unit. Right out of the box, when I try and calibrate it using the supplied 50 gram weight (using the proper procedure, I checked on Youtube to ensure I was doing it right), it will not calibrate, only display an error message. Is this a known issue, and is there a fix for it, or did I get a bad unit?
It does throw a consistent charge. I used it verifying the charges with a beam balance scale. To get the desired 23.3 gr of Varget I'm wanting, I have to tell the scale to throw a 26.8 gr charge (to assure you, I checked and double checked my beam balance scale).
