Anyone have instructions on how to calibrate the above. I have the brass weight in the compartment if scale. Looking online I just can't find right manual and other manuals aren't the same.

I might be too stupid. I put weight on and hit cal button?. It does goto 50.00 grams so I guess right. It worked just glad I got the weight. Put box of primers on and I get err.

I use my little fart and this one as weighting on both and electronic are quick.

Thx again.

Think I got it, i don't need 8 pages of scales that are not like mine and are only pretty much saying I shouldn't use electronic and just use rcbs 505.

Thx for helping and taking time to look though, it is appreciated.. Not even sure what calibration does but I run 2 different electronic in tandem to verify every few rounds.

Well, unless you have access to a $2000.00 lab scale the beam is much better than the digitalis for most purposes.

Note that most digital scale users will use a beam scale to verify the accuracy of their digital scale.

Not me. Thx for info though. I'd bet my little Frankford is just as accurate as most beam scales. Like anything though you have to know how to use and read them which is a skill you might not have. Thx though.

Glad I could help.

Also, nice for you to teach me that earth gravity is better than a digital scale.

I'll be sure to tell my to my physics professor to whom I taught.

All is good. Thx for your thoughts on scales. We are both probably right. If you are ever in my neck of woods be glad to shoot with ya. I'll even get factory ammo.

Thanks for the invitation. Don't need factory ammo; been stuffing bullets into cases for over 40 years.

We all have different experiences. My luck with digital scales has not been very good. I've had at least four and have had a problem with all of them. Not necessarily accuracy, but battery life, florescent lighting, and other things you can read on the various threads here.

I still use them -- not for weighing powder where I want -- and safe -- quantities to be exact.

Like someone said a hundred of years ago: "It is the difference of opinions which makes a horse race."

Best wishes
Mike

I have an Accu Touch 2000, and I don't know what the LE 1000 is but here is the directions for mine.
Hopefully it will help....?

EDIT: don't know why it's sideways...
