M and P Sport II BCG Question

Hello...
I kind of want a nickel boron bcg. PSA has some for a decent price. Is that a direct drop in? I mean, buy the bcg for a 5.56 AR 15 and just take the old one out and put the new one in, or do I need to do anything else? Thanks.

No more than any other AR bolt, which, in fairness, would have had the same likelihood of being an issue in the slap and grab assembly of your S&W M&P Sport II in the first place.

In AR's, headspace is almost never a problem. That's because headspace is regulated by the way the barrel extension is fitted to the barrel, and this is done at the barrel factory. Factory tolerances are held to tight standards. Headspace is not meant to be adjustable.

I definitely wish we'd have had it when I was in. Easier to clean, easier to see that it's cleaned.
