M&P 15 22LR at gander for $399

hi i was looking through sunday ads and i saw that the S&W M&P 15 22LR was on sale at gander mountain for $399. I had a question, the ad has a picture of a M&P without a butt rest and a very short barrel, is that the one for sale or is it mis-pictured?

looking at reviews but do people think this a pretty good plinking fun gun?

That's the pistol version for $399.

With regard to your other question - I have the rifle 15-22, and cannot speak highly of it enough. Incredibly accurate and reliable - I use it as a cost effective trainer for my regular AR.
