Hello Pistol Packers,
I recently purchased a full sized M&P .45 and now I'm looking for a similar but smaller pistol as a backup or spare. My brain tells me to just buy an M&P .45 Compact and enjoy having a matching gun that's a bit smaller and lighter. On the other hand, I've got this contrary little demon on my other shoulder whispering about a Springfield Armory LW Champion. I love the look of the S-A GI models, and I do like a gun I don't have to worry about. I'm just not sure the LW Champion is really any smaller (especially in grip length) or lighter than the full sized M&P (which weighs 36 oz fully loaded with 11 rounds). Which gun should I buy and why?
Sincerely,
Commander Crusty
