I just got back from the Dixie Gun Show in Raleigh NC. I went there with some goals and met most of them.

1) PMAG's. I wanted to get some for my personal use, and training with my M4. I got an average price, and saved shipping. Not too bad. $100 even for 6 black 30 round PMAG's (no window) and 1 20 round black PMAG with no window.

2) CAA "Jungle Clip" for said PMAG's.

3) Cheapo double stack magazine pouch for $6.

Didn't get 9mm ammo for my HK USP9c, or an extra 13 rounder ($42? Yeah right!), but I DID manage to find someone selling a NIB S&W M&P .45 ACP full size.

It was never fired, had the box, all paperwork, lock, trijicon night sights and 5 10 round magazines. He asked $600 and I said sold.

I picked up a box of .45 ACP Federal Hydrashok's (50 rounds for $30) and called it good. Now I'm wondering...this was Face to Face with no tax...cash...and all NIB. Was it an alright deal?

Oh, and a good IWB holster for it? Any ideas?

Thanks.

PS: No mag safety and no lock! Yusssss!

good deal; the mags made it pretty fair.
enjoy the M&P, they are great guns.

Thats a pretty good deal, almost exactly what I paid for my mid sized 45. Enjoy it, I know I love mine.

I would have taken that deal. I just paid $559 for a new one that came in right at $600 with tax. I got 2 mags and will get 2 more from the rebate, but do not have nite sights.

yeah w/ the mags it was a good deal.I just bought a new m and p 9mm compcat for $604 w/ the 2 mags that come w/ it.(the free ones are on the way)a few months back a buddy was selling his m and p 45 for $400...like a dork I let it go.I didn't have the money then and I hate to owe people who I know.If and when they make a compact .45,I'll sell a kidney to get one.I love the 9mmC.....

Of all of you guys that own a M&P-45 would you recommend it. I am looking to add to my gun addiction, but I don't really know much about them, are mags readilly accessible, etc....
