There's a company called E&L Manufacturing that makes and sells a brass catcher for the M1 Garand. Does anybody have experience with this product?

Looks like that would be OK for shooting from the bench, I wonder how it would interfere while shooting prone, sitting and standing?

I use a similar sized Caldwell one on my ARs and it doesn't interfere with prone shooting. I'm most interested in how this one attaches and whether it might scratch my M1.

I have a couple of their brass catchers but none are for an M1.

They look to be made of Kydex and if abrasives (dirt/dust) gets between the plastic and metal surface it will cause harm. Not unlike a holster and pistol.
