About 25 years ago I had an extra standard M1A, so I had a reputable M-14 Smith/ armorer cut the barrel and install a brake so I could use it as my patrol car trunk rifle.
Other than the annual qual course it spent most of its time in my safe or in the case.
For the last 10 years or so it has been a safe queen.
It has a 16.5 inch barrel that was cut down and crowned from a standard twist rate GI type barrel. , a Smith Muzzle break, the standard wood stock and a military fiberglass stock that I painted years ago. I think I have around 12 to 14 military magazines.
I have a couple folks interested in buying it, but I have no idea what the market will bear these days.
What is a good price for the rifle and magazines these days??
