So, I was in the shop my brother works in a couple weeks ago and they were checking in as&W revolvers they bought from an estate collection. One of them was a very tight m37 no dash in nickel. It looked and felt like a new gun.

So, naturally at the "family" price I could not pass it up. Home it came! There is still some goopy oil in the pics, the original owner didn't shoot much but her certainly oiled them enough!

Ahh! we have a similar sickness. I lack will power when it comes to nice old Smith's. Congrats on the find.

Fantastic find and in such nice condition! I can totally relate to buying such a sweet little J frame.

Excellent!

Forgive me if I am preaching to the chior, but I hope you immediately cleaned and stripped the excess oil that will collect gunk and age your new baby. Over oiling can be worse that under. You probably know this.

Unless you dunk your guns in a bucket of gear oil, it will not be overlubed.
