Hi folks, I'm asking about the M57 firing pin extension. Bought the gun at a gun show Saturday morning at a pretty low price. Guy failed to mention it was missing a piece.

The piece at question is the firing pin extension.
This link is to a site that once had it in stock:

https://www.buymilsurp.com/firing-pin-extension-yugo-m57-tokarev-used-p-42346.html

What I'm asking for is mostly a replacement, but I'm open to do either retrofitting or making one myself.

Anything helps, thank you for your time- Gob

You might try calling up JG Sales in Arizona. They sold quite a few of these and might have some "gunsmith" specials that are lacking parts soc that they are not complete. Another would be Century International has a lot of parts guns that are missing stuff. Everygunpart gets firearms that have hacked up receivers so not a firearm anymore from law enforcement is my guess or gun buybacks. At times, they have Toks. Gunbroker at times has parts guns which you can find with keywords like tokarev parts guns that may not show up otherwise.

Wouldn't be asking for help here if I hadn't tried that. I've even contacted the manufacturer, still waiting on whether or not they can help. Worst cast scenario, I go to the last gunsmith in El Paso to get it refabed .

Good luck with your search.
