I have a bad case of creeping arthritis in my thumbs. I used to love shooting auto pistols, but loading magazines has become like a torture session with the Japanese Army Kempetai in 1943. My Browning Hi-Power magazines aren't too bad. It's funny how JMB and his buddy Mr. Saive could design a gun it dosent take the strength of a gorilla to load in 1922. The last couple of years I qualified with the Glock 22 in Corrections before I quit was terrible. At any rate. A couple of days ago I bought a Butler Creek ASAP mag loader. Had a terrible time with it. It didn't like my SR-9 and .40 Stoeger Cougar mags. I did a little digging on the web and found it dosen't like pointy FMJ rounds, which is mostly all I shoot.I had an unpleasant Ruger Mk II style reassembly cussing session with the Butler Creek loader.
Does anyone know of a magazine loader that actually works with the above named guns? I am on the verge of selling both guns and buying a Smith and Wesson EZ. I don't want to, because I like both guns, especially the SR-9, which I consider an unappreciated gem.
