Magazines for Remington 788

I have a Remington 788 in .308.

I want to get some magazines. Either new ones or if possible perhaps have some made??

Any help and advice would be appreciated.

got mine from numrich, also you can find them from time to time at the big box sports stores, I think I got one from either Academy, or Gander Mntn.

I have a 788 as well. Just Google Remington 788 and about 6-7 items down, you will find a site for parts and magazines

You can also snag them on gunbroker. They used to have them on Ebay but alas... no more gun accessories on Ebay. Don't limit yourself to 308, since anything based on 308 will also work, i.e. 243 etc.

Just saw Sportsman's Guide had the .308/.243/7mm-08 for sale... looks like Numrich is cheaper per mag, not sure about shipping or tax.

.308 isn't too hard to find.
My Wife had a 788 in .30-30..that was a troublesome.

Built her up a custom M700 and sold off the 788 to a collector/deer hunter that thought they were the best thing since sliced bread.
