Magpul CTR stock in OD Green

I just received my CTR OD Green stock and wanted to show it off.

I really like these stocks, (this is my second one), they fit the extension tube without any wobble and even without any cheek support to speak of, they position my head just right whether shooting with iron sights or optics.
If you are considering a collapser stock for your AR this is one to take a serious look at.

My only complaint is that the stock is advertised as O.D. green and the color is actually the darker, current, forest green color.
Hopefully the picture is clear enough that you can see the color difference between the stock and the Buffer Tech. O.D. green pistol grip.

I have a CTR in OD Green from about a year and a half ago. It looks dark green just like the one you have. I also have a Tango Down grip that is quite a bit lighter than the Magpul green. Wish they were a little closer in color. I have noticed there are way too many variations of the same colors out there. (What happened to the DARK in FDE?) Who knows, it may be a marketing ploy to keep people in the same brand so they all match. I don't really care for the MIAD grip angle as much as the Tango Down. I am just gonna duracoat the entire rifle the way that I want it and be done.
