Magpul maglink and ITW Fastmag?

I just picked up a couple more Pmags and a maglink and I was wondering if anyone has tried using an ITW fastmag pouch to hold the linked magazines? Is there enough room between the mags for the pouch's front half?

Any other suggested method for carrying linked Pmags? I have a surefire 60 round quad stack mag that I really like and I would prefer to keep it as my primary magazine.

As far as carrying coupled mags, I used a few of these while I was in the Sand Box.

I had to remove the thin divider from the middle with a seam ripper. It worked very well. I had a three compartment pouch and two compartment model like pictured in the link. They offered plenty of room for the linked mags. Used magpul loops to get them out quickly.

When I worked the Gate. I sometimes would remove the three pouch one and put it on a sling. This would allow me to have ammo on me without having to wear my ammo vest over my armor.

I bought a couple of Maglink couplers last weekend - I'm blown away by how solid the setup is. Maybe this is an opportunity for one of the manufacturers to introduce a new pouch.
