Hello All,

I recently aquired a CETME (I know, I know, we've had a lot of these threads lately) but I was wondering if anyone had tried putting a Magpul Precision Rifle Stock on one? I know most HK91/PTR91/G3 parts will work for it, and the website says it will fit with minor gunsmithing, but anyone have any practical experience?

I know someones going to ask, so I'll say it. This is meant to be an all around rifle. I like shooting for accuracy, but it would also be a "bear deterrent" rifle for my walks in the Montana woods, so accuracy isn't so much required. I REALLY like the idea of a better cheek weld, and I've heard the folding stocks suck in regards to comfort, cheek weld, and reliability.

So, any thoughts on the subject?

I don't have any hands on experience, but here's my reasoning: The butt stock socket, that metal end cup that has the take down pins and the mainspring assembly, is the part which must be similar enough to use the PRS stock.

If one could readily interchange buffer assemblies, or if one could use G3 plastic stocks on a CETME, then this PRS stock should work.

You might make a call to MagPul and ask them? They've been really good to me to deal with.
