Magpul x22 Backpacker stock What QD mount?

I recently picked up the x22 backpacker stock at a local gun show for 100$ which seemed reasonable but when you want to add stuff like a simple sling it seems like things start adding up fast....

I want to add a sling but I am confused as which qd mounts I need? I am thinking type 2? They make 3 types! It looks like the others are for attaching standard sling swivels?

The magpul website and the videos I see on You tube don't spell it out either.

I already bought some push button swivels from amazon.

You need Type 1 if you are only going to attach your sling to one side. You need type 2 if you want attachment points on both sides.

Just to add... the Type 2 must be used IN ADDITION TO the Type 1 for attachments on both sides of the Backpacker.
