I have a Manurhin PP 7.65MM.

I bought a MecGar mag the flush one not with the finger rest...it did not fit. It would not go into the gun all the way and would stick out a little. This one.

Am i babying it and should i smack it into place? or it should go in with ease?

Should i buy another mecgar mag this time with the finger rest?

Should i buy an original Manurhin Mag because mecgar mags do not fit it in manurhin PP?

Mecgar is crap and its not interchangeable with manurhin made PP?

Please help any input would be so helpful i have scoured the internet and not found one topic about this ever... so you might be helping future people searching for this also.

I have a MecGar mag with the finger rest that I use with my Manurhin PP with no problems whatsoever. I'm at a loss to explain the fact that your's won't fit in the gun, unless either:

1) They shipped the wrong mag
2) You inadvertently ordered the wrong mag.

MecGar mags are generally accepted as quality products; they are OEM on many pistols.

Thanks guys i will order again and tell them specifically to make sure its the correct magazine they send.

This time i will order the one with the finger rest...

Any other suggestions are welcome..

FWIW, I have a .32 PP with both a Manurhin mag and MecGar mag and I prefer the MecGar. Both work, but the one seems more solid than the other and fits better in the pistol.

CDNN usually stocks mags for the PP.

U don't think i am babying it? and i should push it in hard?

i don't wanna make it get stuck.. or should it go in with ease?

I already ordered a new one and specified to send me the correct magazine....

"Hard" is rather relative. The mags have to push the magazine catch back as they're inserted and that may be the resistance you are feeling. Press the magazine catch and insert the magazine and see if it doesn't go in all the way a lot easier without having to push past the catch. If it does you probably just need to smack it home some to get it to lock in place.
