Market value, used CZ 85 Combat in Massachusetts?

I have a 1996 manufacture CZ 85 Combat in excellent cosmetic and mechnical condition. It has the case and two mags, and Hogue wrap-around grips. A trigger job from Teddy J with a nice 4.5lb SA pull and smoot DA pull was done as the OEM trigger was gross. It has also had the barrel recrowned. It has the importer's stamp as this was prior to CZ-USA. CZ-USA did upgrade the ambidextrous safety to the new, thicker configuration that is more durable.

I don't expect to get back any of the money I put into it (about $200), but what is it worth in MA, where new CZ's aren't available? I need more room in the safe and have too many 9mm pistols, so this is one of the first to go.

TIA

I don't see why you couldn't get back what you put into it if the model isn't on the approved roster. If you're not in a hurry you could always put in on consignment at Four Seasons for your asking price plus 18% and see if anyone bites.

Thanks, that would add $60 plus to the price and people just don't seem willing to pay anything but bargain basement prices for CZ's. I paid $375 and that's probably what I'll ask, unless someone thinks they are appreciating in value. Last time I tried to sell it all I got was offers to trade junk, or one guy who wanted me to finance it. This is going to be COD, with a reasonable but firm asking price.

I have seen CZs go for $350 to $450 depending on condition, custom work and # of rounds..

I sold a 75b a short time ago for a bit more...that had custom sights, hammer, action work and was bought by a competition shooter, that knew the value of the work..

good luck with your sale.
