Nice shooting. One of these days I am going to have to get my hands on a '60 myself.

I recall someone being laughed to scorn on this forum two or three years ago for making a somewhat similar claim, and all kinds of ridicule was thrown at the poster. Including as to how it was "only match and expensive competition style rifles that would shoot like that". Or words to that effect.

Got mine for christmas in 1973, my mom and dad tied it alongside the trunk of the tree. I was so dissapointed that I did not get a rifle. My folks said for me to look real hard at the tree and I found it. Still my only .22 rifle and I have shot the hell out of it and trained my four kids shooting with it.

some years back I took a M60 in partial trade for some welding I did for a buddy and sold it to a nephew.
he took it apart and cleaned and scrubbed the bore well/ mounted a 4X BSA scope - practices offhand on walnuts @50 yds and don't miss.
uses SuperX (real good) and Blazers (cheapo stuff and dirty but shoots OK)
