Marlin Glenfield model 30.....

I have this old Marlin lever gun and i am trying to put a scope on it. May use it for deer next fall.

I'm having one hell of a time finding a scope mount for it. Does anyone know where I can find one?

Any help is appreciated.

I have a scope on my glenfield but I got it with the mount already on so I dont know what it is but I will check it out.

ironsighter.com has the mounts you need, various ones actually. The one that fits the Marlin 336 fits yours. Haven't seen any on the parts catalog sites, checked 4 of them. Maybe your local Walmart can order them for you.

I really appreciate the info. I was wondering about the interchangability with the 336 but I wasnt sure.
