I was in Bass Pro Shop,about to start filling out the paperwork for A Marlin 1895 in .450 when I told the guy behind the counter to give me two boxes of ammo to go with it.He told me they don't stock that ammo.WHAT? The biggest sporting goods store on the planet doesn't stock this ammo?I told him no sale and bought a .45-70 at another store.And lived happily ever after.

God those are beautiful guns aren't they? The wood on my .450 is like artwork. I'm ordering a larger lever for mine, so seeing that little boxy knuckle grinder will no longer give me the willys...
