what is the process? do you anneal then just case form or are you able to form them down in stages? I think if you had the ability to do in stages you may get better percentage of success but Im just speculating.I have tried fire forming .303 brass into .410 shotshell with similar percentage of success.
Anneal the ever loving daylights outta em and do it in stages.
1) cut to length
2) Anneal
3) get about 1/4 inch in the sizing die.
4) anneal
5) get another 1/8-1/4 inch in
6) anneal
Steps 7-->250) rinse and repeat
The cases are thin so they have to be soft or else they just collapse and fold.
