On June 25 Massachusettes will hold a special election to replace John Kerrey.

The Democratic establishment is uniting behind Rep Ed Markey who is an NRA grade F.

Scott Brown, his likely Republican challenger is an NRA grade C.

But if you live in MA, maybe we should not wait for the general election. Another Democratic candidate is about to declare, Stephen F. Lynch, who is NRA C-. He voted against the 1996 Assault Weapons Ban, calling it "feel good legislation". But has voted in favor of other gun control measures and has voted against protecting manufacturers. He is prolife. He is a former iron worker and very pro-union.

Please call or write Rep Lynch to encourage him. If you are a Democrat in MA please talk him up and consider supporting him. While I believe Brown would be the best, Lynch would be far superior to Markey. Even if Lynch does not win the nomination, a bruising fight with Markey would be in Brown's and the RKBA's best interest.

Lynch does not accept email from outside his district. His mailing address:

Steven F Lynch

Too bad the pro gun folks in MA can't sponsor a truly pro 2A candidate and get him in office.

And welcome to The High Road.

Scott Brown says he is not running. In any event both candidates will be evil to the extreme. MA pro-gunners do not get elected to congress.
