Match burner?

I am not sure how they compare but the best group I have ever shot was with the 112gr 6mm Match Burners in my 6mm Creedmoor. A five-shoot, .38 MOA group at 200 yards. I am a fan of Barnes bullets in general.

Matchburners 68gr bullets have served me well in 100yd benchrest matches in my 6mm br.

I've shot a few of the 140's through my 6.5CM and 155's through my 308's. I prefer Lapua Scenar's in the same bullet weight, but the Match Burners were close, very close accuracy wise. And at least when I bought them were at a good price.

Never used SMK's.

I forget now - I know you’ve mentioned it a bunch - are you jamming the 108BT-T’s in your BRA?

+0.005” into the lands past touching. Whether that’s jammed or not depends on who you ask. I’ve also run them at -0.020 off of touch with equal success.

As I mentioned in the other post, once I determine the seating depth based on the test target I keep the BTO constant and don’t chase the lands

They shoot about as well on average. The Sierras will occasionally throw in a sub-MOA group while the Match Burners haven’t done that. Then again I’m using opposite ends bullets from an M16 A4gery. 52 grain Match Burners and 77 grain SMKs. Both average 1.5 MOA. Not a high standard I realize but it’s from a budget rifle with iron sights.

What gunpowder do you use for your 68gr?
I have a few hundreds of those, but I do not have any of the powders that Barnes calls for on their loads. I thought of using Ramshot Hunter to load some .243 Rem rounds, but I ended up not doing anything until I get a hold of some Big Game.
