Along the same lines as the post concerning the market for a more expensive revolver, are the German made revolvers ever going to be imported here? Has anyone heard of anything?
And, we have seen where Pedersoli and Pietta along with the older but tried Euroarms with their match grade barrels, entered the target grade percussion revolver market with their 58’ Remington-Beales, how do they compare to the Hege Remington. Anyone compared these revolvers side by side, possibly at Friendship?

Since black powder arms are not "firearms" for the purpose of import, legally they can be brought into the USA via provate purchase and importation. I'd be surprised if a few were not here already. Be interesting to see an importer bring in a batch, but the profit margin might not be high enough to attract commercial sales.

That would be the solution right there having an importer bring them over Will, but over at the North & South Society they are itchin at the bit to get their hands on a Hege revolver. I would think that if anyone compared them to the Pedersoli or Pietta it would have been them. But during the discussion they mentioned these guys and the link srtill works.

Has anyone dealed with these guys before?

^^ Nice stuff...

Need....Whitworth.... Rifle....

They are in Brescia, Italy, so are right in the middle of the Italian gunmaking center. Be interesting to visit them next time I'm across the pond. Might just do so.

Very nice. Pretty sure I couldn't afford one.
But, I can dream. Right?

It's .44. Finish is basically parkerization...or Tenifer. But it's matte.

The "Hege" Remingtons were actually made by Feinwerkbau. You can get spares from them. Unfortunately, the current production gun is not. It's a reworked Uberti. And they won't export to the USA.

The horrible part being that the old FWB-made gun really is everything it's touted as. I've been shooting mine for 20 years. No gunsmithing required, just work up a load, sight it in, and win medals. Including six N-SSA National Skirmish revolver aggregates. I did arms inspection at the 2012 World Championships, and three-quarters of the replica revolvers were these guns.

Right now, the best new-production option is the Feinwerkbau Rogers & Spencer repro. Pedersoli makes repro revolvers that have potential, but the FWB guns dominate.
