Match M1A, AR-10, or DMPS LR-308 for tackdriving?

For what you want I think you made a very good choice as I can not see using a match barrel on the M1a to just shoot surplus ammo threw it.

I hope RRA works out the bugs that bushmaster could not with the rifle as cheap mags sound good to me. But then again with the mag ban over I hope to see cheap M1a mags again some day.
Everyone I have talked to likes the dpms.

I would like to read that column on the M1a compared to a 7400. Where was it? Not beating you up but you know I have my doubts to some folks sanity when they write articles.

Do the DPMS .380 and AR10 20-round mags interchange?

AR10 mags seem a bit easier to find around here right now.

I'm going out to the desert with my DPMS this next week off (I work a week on/ week off schedule). I'll be trying out some true long range shooting with my DPMS for the first time. Also coyote hunting, and camping. I'll try to post pictures when I get back of some targets at various ranges, and my LR-308.

I have a Springfield Gen 3 6x40 I plan to throw on until I can get something better.. Might get a Mk IV for the 50, and throw the Bushnell 10x40 on this one, I dunno
