I don't know if you guys caught this or not, I don't think anyone has mentioned this... but I spotted a pair for Browning BDM's in this movie. I think this is the first flick I have seen these in.

In the elevator on the way up to the club where Merv hangs out now, the Asian guy leading Trinity and Morpheus is talking and while talking, breaks out two automatics and does a one hand press check on each to verify that they are ready to rock. These guns are the Browning BDM.
I was grinning when I saw those, because these guns are absolutely perfect for his character... Let me tell you why. In The Matrix, when you have to shoot, you are going to have to shoot a lot. That means automatics with high capacity magazines, like the Beretta. But here we have a guy with a little different taste.
Remember the other person all in white? Switch? She had a Browning too, a High Power. This cat goes with the "updated" version of the High Power, or at least that was what Browning was trying to market it as.
This gun fits with his character very well. He mostly uses his hand to hand skills, but carries guns concealed. The BDM is a very slim gun. When I say slim, I mean you pick it up and it surprises you just how slim it is. It's especially surprising when you take into account that it is a high capacity handgun with a double stack magazine. This slimness makes it easy to carry concealed, even if your a ninja like this cat, who likes to lay down some thrashing before he has to slap leather. 15 round magazines of 9MM, it can deliver as much firepower as the larger and considerably thicker Berettas. This is one gun that I have always wanted, but have never had the chance to get. Kudos to the Key Armourer who selected this gun... absolutely the perfect choice.

What do you guys think? Am I wrong?

Yep, I caught that as well. I especially liked the one-handed press checks.

That scene kept the movie from being a total loss. :D

I believe the Bond film was Goldeneye.

Sean Bean played 006 and he carried the BDM.

Or....I could be wrong. I could pop in my copy of the movie but I'm too lazy to do it.:neener:

Yup. Looks like Seraph is packin a pair of BDMs. Cool!

Yes, Ian, it is in Goldeneye. In the first sequence 006 is carrying an Inglis Hi Power. Later in the film, it's a Browning BDM.

Evil or not, the guy had good taste in guns. :D

Saw that too on the evelator ride up but wasn't totally sure it was a BDM (my first guess) until the the faceoff before the shooting started.

Neat gun. But about it being thin (and it is), it's still fatter than the P-35.

The really big question is..was it in traditional DA more or revolver mode. :D :D
