OK...........................just so I'm clear on this...........................
Just like in golf, My ultimate goal here is a hole in one on the fairway target - unless I choose to lay up short???? and when I miss the hole, then go to the green target once I'm ON the green????

Yes, just like golf your ideal goal would be to get a hole in one on the fairway target. If you miss the hole on that first shot but land on the green then you move on to the "green" target and try for the hole again.

You keep shooting at the "fairway target" until you get a shot on the green.

Clear? I hope.

It seems like there will not be too many people trying this match. I find it hard to believe that there are so few questions posted. Obviously people haven't thought about this one.:D

This might be a little odd, but I think I'm gonna shoot this match backwards- start with the green, get it in the hole, then later do it from a distance to tee off and get to the green. If I somehow get a hole in one, I'll add the greens scores anyway.

Reason is, I can make it to my handgun range a lot easier than I can make it to the 100 yard range.

Sound okay?

jamz - that is a different way to approach it. I guess it would work out OK.

Also, you can always shoot in "mini-golf class" using handgun only while you are at the handgun range. (Assuming your hangun range goes to 25 yrds.)

More time?

I think we can allow some more time for people who wanted to try this match but did not get a chance. How about a cut-off date of D-Day +1 for last months entries. This will give everyone another weekend.

Note: I have posted the match for June so you have a chance to go out and shoot BOTH at the same time.

Just do it!

Sorry there wasn't more participation in this month's match, photo_guy. Doesn't do it any justice, that's for sure. I for one thought it was well thought out and creative. Please don't be discouraged by apathetic members. Keep up the good work!

I should have shot the match w/ my M1 in honor of D-Day....
