Has anyone used the Missouri Bullet Company's "Delivery Assurance Guarantee" that states if USPS tracking shows that you have not received your shipment 14 days (30 days during holiday season) from the date they shipped, they will replace it immediately. No questions asked?

My ship date was August 14th and tomorrow will be the 14 day. I almost feel guilty contacting them about it since it does not seem to be their fault. The USPS tracking number does not have any updates since August 14th when it arrived in the USPS Regional Origin Facility in the KANSAS CITY MO DISTRIBUTION CENTER . . . The local Post Office station in my area was less than helpful, she said that all packages are taking 3-4 weeks and not to expect anything for at least another 2-3 weeks! Thank goodness it is not my medication or Election Ballot ; )

I called a buddy of mine that delivers mail for the PO here in the same D/FW area and he said she is full of it! He has not personally experienced any such delays himself or heard anyone at his PO location mention anything like it.

Since it is apparently not MBC fault, I can only guess, and hope, they insure the packages to cover at least their cost to replace what I have not (yet) received.

I am trying to be understanding with the COVID-19 (crap) and the current "political environment" (more crap) but I really do want to have my order to spend my time on while I don't watch any sports this fall. The original order was placed on July 7th and they shipped as expected within the 4-5 weeks posted on their website so again, it is not their issue best I can tell.

Anyone have a similar experience or have any thoughts of me contacting MBC tomorrow?

Thanks for your comments

It is really hard to NOT read the whole page if you start at the TOP of the page!

https://www.missouribullet.com/

Delayed shipping - Due to the high volume of orders, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for your order to be shipped.
We have suspended customer pick ups at this time.

Note: This is a generic response to the question: "Why hasn't my order shipped yet?"
Keep reading there is much much more..............................................................................

But go ahead and ask Brad, should be good for a laugh!:neener:

the many companies i buy from always state clearly, that due to the covid crisis, all shipping times may be longer than usual.

you can still call them, they might just tell you, sorry, but we explained a possible delay.

i think that right now, since we are in a unique time period, we have to just make allowances.

I had a package that took 18 days to come 1st class mail from Fl to TX. It was stuck in FL processing center for over a week. It never showed any movement till it showed up. It will eventually get there. If you want it faster your going to have to use UPS or FedX. Though the Postmaster General said he was rolling back the changes he made to get things moving. We will see if there is any change.

I have been dealing with Brad since shortly after he started the business. He will bend over backwards to help a customer. One of my first orders ended up coming for free. At that time Brad was shipping less than a pallet a day. Now he has semis going out daily. Email him (the best way to contact them when busy) and ask your questions.

I agree that the USPS is horrible at times. I would bet that a heavy box was shoved aside at KC. It might arrive before the apocalypse.

I like MBC and have always had good service. Given what's going on right now due to health, politics, panic or whatever, there's no way I would call them on day 15 and inquire about their Delivery Assurance Guarantee. I might contact them in a few more days and check on my order and let them know I haven't seen it, yet.

My order was placed July 8 and I received it on August 8. At the time, they said 30 day delay in shipping. Can't complain about that, About August 3, they upped the shipping to 5 to 6 weeks which did worry me some. Package came to me 2nd day air which isn't exactly cheap shipping. In their faq sheet, they say they can't keep up with the demand. They are working 3 shifts 7 days a week. They voted last week to quit answering the phone and just produce product. My order is picture perfect and shoot great. Take a shot of whiskey and bite down hard. When they come, you will be very happy.

I dont think I could necessarily fault you if you called tomorrow, but I'd give it some more time. The email I just got from MBC letting me know my order has been shipped says at the top to call if you havent recieved it in 14 days after it's been shipped.

Shipping around here is really messed up lately. I'd probably give em at least the 30 days before calling anyone.

I was staring to wonder if my order got lost with MBC somehow and was debating calling them to make sure it was still in line to be processed when I got the email that it had shipped.

Was 60 days for mine(June 28 - Aug 27), but I ordered 2 different bullets and probably not big sellers so figured it might take longer.

I'll probably wait till October to call if I havent recieved em yet.

MBC is my go to also. However, my most recent order took just over 6 weeks to get shipped. Once I got a tracking number, the order arrived in four days. Not an issue as this was a restock order for me. I reckon that you should contact MBC, ekohler and see if they won't help. I bet they will.

Don't think you read the OP @Rule3. His order has shipped and is stuck at a USPS Hub. So the shipping notice is irrelevant, if its already shipped.

I would email mbc, explain the delay in reference to their delivery assurance. Then explain that this email is simply to reference the order and start contact. I would then state due to the pandemic I'll give it another two weeks before asking for help.

Just a separate reference. My work runs 500 trucks to construction sites every weekday in New construction builders schedule. All trades have to make their day. With the pandemic and rules when exposed its not uncommon to have fourteen to twenty people out every day. Not including vacations, regular sick. And family reasons. Imagine if the supply chain ran multiple states and each one the same issues.

I am a long time customer of MBC, I have never had any hiccups of any type. I would get the tracking info and make a inquiry with the post office. Brad did about all he can do for now but do email him and tell him you are contacting the PO with a trace. Now remember you can slap a cop and get a pat on the back from your local Democrat but if you raise your voice to a postal employee you are in deep stuff and may be charged with harassment.

Placed my order July 18, for 2,000 bullets, and they said 3-4 weeks until ship-out. Its been 6 weeks, not a dicky-bird from them.

Having been in the bullet casting biz (of sorts), I can safely say that all sorts of issues arise. Everything from supply side delays (aka, can't get wheel weights, or line-o-type, or tin, or antimony, or lube, or....?), to simple machine breakdown and wear, to... maybe even staffing issues. I gotta give 'em a bit of grace I suppose, as times are trying us all.

We ran recycled lead from the range, and double casted it, first as it was into pigs, then re-alloyed when being cast into bullets, adding ... usually wheel weights to up the hardness a bit from "fairly hard already" range scrapings. Our capacity was "about" 36-48 bullets per minute to cast, and we'd cast for a week straight every month for 8-10 hours per day.

I ordered some bullets from Midway on Aug. 6th. They shipped on the 8th and went from Missouri to Ft Worth Tx. on the 12th of August. USPS kept them somewhere in Ft Worth with no movement whatsoever until they arrived at my door on the 27th. Had a similar experience with some Dillon dies. Went from Scottsdale to Phoenix back to Scottsdale back to Phoenix then no movement at all for 2 weeks then here they were in Texas. Good luck but I wouldn’t expect to much from USPS.

Some folks just need to learn to be patient during times like these. Amazon and the internet in general have spoiled WAY too many folks thinking everything is immediately available. God forbid we went back to the old days when you waited for the paper catalog to come, mailed them a check and then waited for your package to magically appear at some future date.

Yes I read it and fully understood what he wrote, I think it is petty

I said go ahead and call him.

There i not a damn thing anyone can do about USPS shipping. So suck it up. My last order from MBC took 2 months to arrive. OP never said what day he ORDERED.?? Maybe he got it by now? Crickets?????
Lets say Brad says Oh My that is terrible, let me get another order ready for you right now! It will ship tomorrow. No what? is that order gonna get there any faster ??

So yes, it's frustrating for us, too.

Be aware of this delay before you place your order, which may take 4 to 6 weeks or so to complete. If you are impatient and unable to wait that long, then please - do not order from us because we cannot promise any faster response than what we are providing.

Thank you for your understanding.

Good news that I received my orginal shipment from the USPS. I contacted the Dallas area USPS Customer Service Department and they could not have been any nicer or helpful. They opened up a Service Ticket and sent several emails to the Kanas City, MO center and even followed up the next day by phone as well. They also suggested the same thing several here recommended and I sent an email with the Tracking number to MBC and asked them to open up an "Find Mail" request suggested by the USPS Customer Service Department. Not sure if it was the USPS Customer Service actions, maybe MBC filed the "Find Mail" request or just plain luck but two days later the online tracking was finally updated and showed my package on its way to Texas. I received two emails from USPS that it would be delivered this week once it reached my local post office and they sent me an email to confirm it was received and would be delivered the same morning - a day earlier than tracking indicated.

I let MBC know the order was recieved and looks great! I have them sitting on my reloading bench ready to try my first order of coated bullets this coming weekend.

Thanks to most everyone for their comments and suggestions.
