Thanks to all of you for providing great information and entertainment!

Hope to see all of you here again next Christmas, after you have the Merriest of Christmases tomorrow, and a safe and happy New Year!

Merry Christmas and now a happy New Year. (New Diet in my case)

This year Christmas was at the folks place for the goodies for the kids and lunch at Uncle and Aunt's place so got back in late last night.

No shooting, no looking at od family guns. My sister and I talked shot guns a bit. She is off the opinion that my wifes grand father should be dug up and beaten over putting a red recoil pad on an LC Smith. She was also surprised to learn that my 12 y/o daughter likes the little '63 Remington .31. That being the closest I came Christmas to talking or doing BP.

It occurs to me this could be an opportunity for us to have an online competition like the smokeless folks tend to run......

It being now winter many of us are in full hibernation storage mode and using belts we swore we would never need again. I suggest we have a topic where BP shooters that are carrying too many supplies can compete on getting rid of such supplies. I find my self in the 60 + category that is over 60 years of age and over 60 pounds excess supplies. The sister that I spoke of above and I have decided to race until July 4 and score based on percentage of weight loss from the starting weight on 1/1/15. We decided not to drown our baby sister when she said she might join us. As her nick name is "Stick" the thought of possibly loosing to 50 year old that still gets admiring looks in a two piece caused my "big" sister and I to drive her away from our competition.

Think how much BP lube we could make if we could recover the suet we sweat off in this event!
