Obviously, the preferred attire is: Black combat boots, black jeans, a Metallica or Marilyn Manson T-shirt, and a long black leather trenchcoat. Maybe sunglasses as well.
And if you believe this, then well...
Don't have a false question prepared for the pre-screening session (if one occurs). Instead, think of a question that'd be a virtual minefield for him to walk into. Then, word that into something the sheeple would regard as a "peaceful" and "acceptable" question.
speaking of bolwing for columbine....my liberal criminal law prof gave it a glowing plug in class today......i told him after class that there was a campaign to revoke his oscar......the prof didnt even know he won an oscar, probably doesnt know what oscars are, and probably doesnt care, but he said....
"by who, charlton heston? hehe"
"actually no"
"what oscar did it win and why are they trying to revoke it?"
"best documentary.......i believe the film to less than a documentary....it is how we say...."
Don't give him a web site to go to - that's lame. Instead, learn as much as you can about the film's errors and have sources memorized to back them up. Then discuss it with him in a friendly, non-confrontational manner. Your mastery of the subject matter will impress someone more than saying "Well I read on this web site that . . ."
The biggest goofs in the film were about the Lockheed plant, the opening scene at the bank and the blurb about how Iraq invaded Kuwait with US weapons.
Print up some fliers, with information about the most glaring untruths and errors in the film, and pass them out to the students coming in the door. A little free speech never hurt anyone.
Mark, I suppose it's a matter of opinion, but I would say the biggest lies are the edits used to make it appear that Charlton Heston and the NRA held rallies right after Columbine and the Flint shooting. A close second would be the cartoon that shows the NRA and the KKK as different faces of the same group.
These are bigger lies, because they run counter to proven facts, rather than being exaggerations, and because of their great impact. Almost every positive review of Bowling, for instance, mentions the shock of realizing that Charlton Heston held a gun rally in Flint Michigan only two days after the killing--which never happened.
You could always ask him to cite his sources used for the number of people who died from gun-related violence. After all, it seems that no one else has been able to find where he got those figures.
Also ask him why he didn't adjust for differences in population numbers. In other words, why does he give strictly raw numbers vs. calculating number of deaths per 100,000 citizens in each country.
Both of those could be made to sound glowingly pro-Mikey if you give them the right window dressing.
Dress like a brainless preppy, plaid golf pants and a pink polo shirt with collar up, & a yellow sweater tied around your shoulders....
Thats the kind of folks that show up at those things...
