I was at the original in DC back in 2000. The MMM swore at us, harrassed us, and told us they hoped our children died..often while pushing their own children in strollers. At least a couple of them were arrested.

Watch the part when hes on the steps chanting hilter was for gun control, that part is very funny, the MMM cant even hear what their speaker is saying:neener:

I expected more from Alex Jones.
maybe I don't know him well enough but...
it's not hard to be extremely polite to these people and let themselves make complete fools out of themselves.
He did good, but not good enough.
I wouldn't show this to an anti and feel like i could be proud

Theyre not against us

they just want us to be more responsible. They have good points about registration and saftey locks, because we all know that hood that shot her son will be sure to register his.......

The scene with the Reform Jews marching against gun and Alex Jones saying that, "Nazis were for gun control," is quite powerful.

It's really not suprising that obnoxious, rude, annoying, control freaks want everyone else dis-armed. That's why control goes from guns - to swords- to knives- to toy guns. Everyone feels like hitting them with something, and they know it.

It's not my style and I personally wouldn't like doing it, but I have to say I enjoyed watching him treat the ANTI's the way the try and treat everyone else. They shout everyone who doesn't agree with them down, and he is giving them a taste of their own medicine.

Ok sure Alex Jones may have not fought with the facts and some may feel he didn't do a good job however I don't think he was there to make a point, I think he was there to show what hypocrites the gun control advocates are and how they ignore anyone who doesn't agree with them. Also how the cops treat the ANTI's compared to pro gun rights people, notice the police said he had to have a "permit" to protest. Sure this isn't something to spread around to antis but this is certainly something people should see to expose the type of people Million Mom March are. The idiots start beating drums and dancing as soon as Alex Jones starts talking. Even that British guy just kept saying "oh no one should own guns" after being proven wrong and walking away.

Also those reform Jews marching against guns ticked me off, shame on them, they should know better seeing as Hitler was the one who disarmed us but I guess they figure a holocaust can't happen again.

I observed childish behavior on both sides. Losing control of your intellect and debating on emotional grounds is never a good thing.

Side A: My child was killed with a gun!

Side B: Did you know Hitler supported gun Control?

Now both sides are angry and refuse to talk to each other.

They should have selected a well-informed debater from both sides and had a serious un-interrupted intellectual discussion. You should present your case in a respectful tone and back up your argument with reliable facts and statistics.

Just because one side starts getting emotional and belligerent is no excuse for you to sink to their level.

The incident where Alex was whining about being “assaulted” with the sign reminds me of “Mommy He’s touching me.”

He’s an embarrassment to our cause.

Now both sides are angry and refuse to talk to each other.
Hardcore anti-gunners have all of the intellectual and moral hallmarks of Holocaust deniers. Facts are utterly irrelevant to them and they will walk through fire for the opportunity to lie to your face.

I like the fat broad who said the French having guns didn't help when Hitler came to town.

Funny; who thinks we liberated those Frogs by asking the Germans to leave nicely? :D

Deanimater,

Your statement is very true. The point I was trying to make is that being impolite towards your opponent will seldom have desired results. I don’t believe there is any chance of changing hardcore anti gunner’s minds. My concern is for the people on the fence about RTKBA issues.

If for example in that situation, the gun owners remained polite and respectful regardless of how belligerent the anti’s became, it would make a statement about their integrity and uncompromising morals. This pared with logical discussion of gun legislation, may help to “convert” people on the fence over to the pro 2A side.

An alternative approach to Alex’s situation would have been:

1. Walk up to the leader
2. Shake her hand
3. Say “Mam, I would like to discuss current gun legislation.”
4. Present your facts and maintain a level head regardless of how emotional the opposition gets.

I believe this approach would help are cause far more than immature name calling and such.

Sincerely,
Josh

Just got to the part where he gets pretty rude on the Euro dude with the long hair.

He could have been more diplomatic there. In fact, he should have been.

You can't argue, reason or even hold a civil conversation with a fanatic.
I don't care whether the fanaticism is about Allah, banning guns, abortion or what beer tastes best. Fanatics, by definition are not reasonable. Attempting to reason with them is a waste of time and resources best used to identify those who are not fanatics and attempt to educate them with facts not feelings. As long as the fanatics don't offer me physical violence I say ignore them. However if they choose to use physical attack to further an agenda I feel that a full, complete and total response is justified.

Ditto, getting upset about what some anti says and accusing them of assult is not THR.

The whole point of setting up a counter-rally is to relate to people and teach them about your point of view. I don't think this Alex Jones character gives a rats a$$ about teaching. He just likes to make alot of noise, which in my opinion is counter-productive. Maybe instead of going on a crusade we should try to convert people and not come off looking like monsters.

What a dip*****....

Not that I would ever support NOW, but for the love of the 2nd Amendment Alex Jones just makes gun owners look like a bunch of jack asses with his behavior.

I thought the video was very silly and I saw alot of ignorant people mostly on the "Million Moron March"or is it Million Mom march?
Anyways I saw many kids being brainwashed by their parents socialist ideas and its sad and thats what affected me most seeing all those kids brainwashed into believing us "2nd amendment supporters are evil ruthless killers and uneducated hicks who want trouble all the time."It made me mad to see those kids holding up those signs and their parents marching like mindless zombies and acting as if they are the "most good people on earth".
When in fact you saw how rude the ladies were to the Alex Jones who was politely asking interview questions and was rudely called a pig and rudely put off "as if he was a black man in a white restaurant in the 1930's".
They also treated the black man who was with mike jones as if he was a thug and was rude to him too.I cant stand stereotyping and thats what the million mom march did and I think they are liars and hypocrits.

Alex Jones' behavior helped the Million Moms March look as if they were peaceful demonstrators being harrassed by an irrational bully while they were attempting to exercise a basic right. Gun owners shouldn't expect to win support by harrassing those who oppose them or by shouting them down.

Such tactics do nothing to reduce fear that gun owners are out of control. Tactics like that increase fear and spread it. Alex Jones attempted to provoke the demonstrators and succeeded in making a few of them react foolishly. He didn't win anything. You can't scare people into sympathizing with you, or supporting you. But you sure can scare them into insisting that the government disarm you.

Personally it looked like most people didn't want to talk to Alex Jones after they knew who he was or heard his name. He probably figured it wasn't worth having a debate with them. Needless to say, that one chunky smaller woman with the glasses screaming "NO MORE GUNS!" and walking around like a nazi screaming "MILLION MOM MARCH" was annoying. Meanwhile Alex is singing like a retard along with the drum beat of the antis singing "HITLER SUPPORTS GUN CONTROOOOOOOLLL"

Meanwhile the brainwashed Reform Jews Support Gun Control are chanting "Save Our Kids"

The whole parade was retarded, there was no way Alex was going to be able to debate with them because everytime he'd start talking, the antis would start banging their drums or ignoring him.

Overall I found the whole thing pretty sad, but other than that, I enjoyed the video for what it was for because it somewhat exposed MOM and NOW to what these people are like to gun owners although Alex Jones certainly didn't make us look good, then again we'll never look good in the eyes of an anti.
