Today is a sad day. It was slightly rainy and in my haste to pull my keys out of my pocket, out came my Mini-Griptilian. I watched in what seemed like slow motion as it crashed to the pebble paving on the ground. I picked it up and dusted it off.
Once I got home I looked at it and realized that the scales on the hinge end of the knife had cracked off, the other end was chewed up and there is a hairline crack from one of the corners that cracked off to the axis lock opening.
I did a google search and had a hard time finding anyone selling aftermarket scales for the Mini-Grip. I have emailed Benchmade asking about a price for a replacement set of scales, but I was wondering if anyone had any nice aftermarket scales for a mini-griptilian. Also, considering this is an EDC knife that I paid $90 for, I'd like to keep the price under the price of the knife.
