Minimum inpact velocities for 150grn Partitions

Do you guys have any input to share as to what should considered to be MINIMUM impact velocity that a .308 150grn partition can be relied apoun for deer sized game.

My thing is I have a bolt action savage 30-30 and a bunch of 150g partitions another reason is the shape of the partition is particularly well suited to the short magazine length on the savage vs other 150grn spitzers

You might call Nosler and ask them, but I would guess that as soft as the points of are, the 2000+ that you'll get from a 30/30 would work great. If I had a 340 Savage, that's what I'd use.
