Does anyone know what kind of knife Jean Reno had in Mission Impossible the movie. Its the knife in scene where he drops it in the CIA central computer room and it lands blade down on the desk. That knife is awesome but I have yet to find one, does anyone know if they are still being manufactured? Thanks

Sean

ive ran across this post before and in each one people couldnt agree on the knife. the knife i see mentioned the most is a Boker, some say a modified bokermatic. but ive seen half a dozen others mentioned. havent seen that movie since it first came out and dont recall the knife so cant guess its identity myself.

If I remember correctly the eventual consensus over at bladeforums is that the knife that falls and sticks in the desk was done digitally and does not exist :uhoh: Kinda sucks as I think about 4 million people would have bought one......maybe I should start making them ;)
There's also a possibilty that its a custom of some sort made just for the movie. Several makers have gotten projects like that (think it was Lile who made the rambo knives, krein did some stuff for the predator movies I think, another fella made a bowie for the the alamo). Generally someone comes forward and takes credit for those though, and since no one has on the mission impossible knife, I'm guessing it probably was digital.
