Just in case some of you are sitting on the fence looking for a place to buy cast bullets. I placed an order at say 10:45 PM for 2000 bullets for the M-1 Carbine. The grand total was $178 with the THR Discount. I just got off the phone with them. It seems that if I'm willing to accept delivery in one box instead of several, they'll only charge $165. I told them I'd get back to them with my decision.

If every American company was like MB, we'd have almost no foreign trade deficit. Great products, service, and speedy delivery.

Chuck

I am looking at buying 500 bullets from Missouri Bullet Co. soon. How do you get the THR discount? thanks Trikerider

Did they say how they were being shipped?

They do have excellent customer service.

Brad will usually ship up to 4 boxes per USPS priority shipping box (500 per box for heavier bullets) and was probably offering to save you the extra shipping charge of $13. I say that's good customer service and would have said, "Yes, I will gladly accept a single box delivery and thank you for the savings!" Heck, you could buy a nice lunch for $13. :D

The THR discount code is: THR-Original

True. They almost exclusively use the USPS Flat Rate boxes where the price is the same up to something like 70 lbs. Brad has told lots of stories about the Post Office guys. I think they make 3 or 4 trips a day out to MBC to pick up his shipments!

Hey, thanks for the discount code. Now does anyone know how much the discount is and what quantity to get it? thanks Trikerider

THR discount is 5%.

You can get even lower price by buying the "Bullet Bundles" for select bullet types/weights Brad offers in 2000-3000 quantities. Yes, you can apply the discount on top of the bundled price and this lowers the price per 1000 even more.

If you buy more than 12K+, Brad will also extend additional discounts (call/email).

Another vote for how awesome Missouri Bullet Company is. I live close enough that I could actually drive down there and pick them up. He let me come down on a Sunday afternoon and he was very accommodating. Being new to reloading, he gave me a lot of good information and recommendations for various bullets. Will be doing a lot more business with them.

Any problems with dents in the bullets when shipped in one large box? Larger mass bouncing on the bottom layer of bullets in the box.

Matt, we ship multiple bullet boxes per USPS mailing carton, up to four of them. We don't put all the bullets into one box, unless someone only orders one box of bullets. If we ship less than 4 boxes, we have custom-made cardboard inserts that we use to stiffen the structure of the flat-rate carton.

Our bullets travel pretty well, although nothing can defeat a determined USPS worker. Especially if he has a fork lift and a gleam in his eye.

MBC has my business hands down. Fast shipping good product made in USA

They always ship fast for me. I shoot the xd 200 grain .45 and the 158 cowboy roundnose .38

If they keep making them i'll keep loading them up

huge thumbs up

I am shooting the 200 Grain RNFP 45acp bullets. Excellent bullets and a great company to deal with.

I have ordered the Missouri Bullets several times in 4 different calibers. They pack them very well, I have never had any bullets damaged in shipment. Now that they are using USPS they are also insured, should any loss or damage occur.

Brad, Jo Ann and their guys are amazing.

Bill

Here is another vote of confidence. I ordered 4-5k bullets from them and they packaged/commonized bullet boxes to lower the shipping costs. Was the first company I opened a package of bullets and none had escaped from their cartons. Customer service and attention to detail is second to none and better than most.

Would happily give them my business in the future if price point is still there.

I've ordered 3 times over the last 2 months.
No damage to any bullets.
Good product- & if they make a mistake they jump through flaming hoops to fix it. :D

i'll second that! fast service and a good quality product is hard to beat. top 3 shots were my first time ever shooting my own reloads so i was quite nervous. once i settled, the lower 3 shots were the product.

230 gr lead RN with 4.4 grains of bullseye
