Model 64 DAO snubbie

I got my Model 64 snub from J&G yesterday. This gun is in excellent condition, and barely looks like it has ever been fired.

It came with a set of Uncle Mike's combat grips that are in great shape.

I swapped the grips for some S&W magnas, and added a polished Typer T-grip.

Here are a few pics of it with the different grips, and with it's holster. The holster an OWB pancake from Hays Holsters and I got it made for my Model 10 snub. I can't wait to take this thing to the range and out on the town!

Great gun, and I like the Eagle Secret Service grips on 64's as well.

That's just cool. An oldie, but a goodie. Those j&g guns are sort of a last shot at the classic pre-lock snubbies on the cheap, IMHO. If I hadn't just recently bought a model 10 snubby, I'd be right behind you on that buy in.

I was up there two weeks ago. They had 3 M64-6 snubbies and one 64-4. I bought the 64-4 and took it to the range on the way home. Great shooter!

I have been thinking about getting a 2" and a 4" from them and you seem to have made the decision for me now...

I hope they still have some left next Friday.

Jeff Hays got them to me in about 2 weeks, and I have been extremely pleased.

On his site, it says that he is in the process of moving to Colorado and won't take any more orders until after his move. As soon as he's taking orders again, I will order the same type of holster for my GP100 3".
